How to talk about ECEC
Early childhood education and care (ECEC) in Australia is complex which can lead to confusion. Developed by ECA, this guide to encourage the use of language that reflects the importance of the early years and the work of early childhood educators.
Young children and digital technologies
This Statement is intended to support the professional practice, learning and reflection of early childhood educators working with young children in early childhood education and care settings.
Statement on Play
The Statement considers play and young children aged from birth to eight years. The right to play, however, extends to every child of any age, ability or background and is relevant in schools and other learning environments, services and communities in which children participate.
